Submit Your Complaint. Be Brief.

We know you are tired. We know you don’t have the emotional capacity or endless amounts of time to draft another 1,500-word chronology of official negligence. The irony is not lost on us.

Please submit your complaint by following these simple steps:

• Write It Down: On a piece of plain paper, write a short, bold statement summarising the core failure. Use a heavy, dark pen (a felt tip is preferred). We want it raw, urgent, and legible.
• Take a Picture: Photograph your handwritten complaint. Ensure the lighting is clear and the paper and text is the focal point.
• Send It In: Be sure to tell us which Local Authority SEND Department you’ve been complaining to and attach your image.

A Note on Safety

This is a public platform. The purpose of this department is to make failures visible to everyone, including the news media, researchers, and—yes—the Local Authorities themselves.

Please ensure your complaint contains no identifying information. Do not include names, specific addresses, schools, or any other details that could identify you or your child. Speak your truth, but stay safe.

A Note on Vetting

We will not act as a legal body. We are a Department of Art and Public Scrutiny. We will read your complaint, and, assuming it aligns with the documented patterns of institutional failure, we will publish it to stand alongside the others, grouped by the responsible Local Authority.

Art, Awareness, and Redistribution

By submitting your complaint, you agree that this image becomes part of our collective efforts, ongoing public art and awareness project. We reserve the right to reproduce, compile, and repurpose the anonymous artwork in different forms. This may include, but is not limited to, exhibitions, printed compilations, digital books, and other advocacy materials designed to push for meaningful policy change.
